WHAT IS THE ECONQUIZ PLATFORM?

Every year, the Lithuanian Free Market Institute together and LRT organize the National Economics Exam. This exam attracts thousands of people Not only pupils or students, but also other citizens test their knowledge

In our interactions with teachers and students, we realized that just one day is not enough to test everyone‘s knowledge. It is important to improve financial literacy on a daily basis, so an economic literacy quiz will make it easy to test your knowledge remotely at any time.

This interactive platform holds more than 150 questions. There are 30 randomly selected questions per quiz. At the end of each quiz, the users will be able to check their answers and deepen their knowledge, with the help of correct answers‘ explanations.

WHAT IS THIS PROJECT FOR?

For schools, this platform is a tool to help pupils to test their economic knowledge.

For pupils it‘s an interactive way to learn new information or deepen existing knowledge.

For citizens it‘s an initiatve to motivate and get surprised of how much economic knowledge they have already gained.

WHAT ARE THE QUESTIONS?

There are different questions, but all are tailored to the needs of Grades 9-12 students

Some of the questions explain economic terms, and other questions are about economy encountered in everyday situations.

All questions have one correct answer, which must be selected and ticked.

All questions are closed-ended questions.

Once you have completed the quiz, you can immediately check your answers and read the explanations of the correct answers.
